This Week in America - Hawaiian Embers (Interview)

FULL BOOK TITLE: Hawaiian Embers AUTHOR NAME: Sheri Lynne PUBLISHER NAME: Dorrance Publishing Co. LINK: https://www.amazon.com/Hawaiian-Embers-SheriLynne/dp/B0CX2V2DW8/

Hawaiian Embers is the conclusion to the trilogy penned by Sheri Lynne. Following the nail-biting events of Hawaiian Dreams and Hawaiian Flames, readers are once again drawn into the tumultuous life of Mark TreVaine as he and his new employee Tammy navigate through their perilous world of danger and desire. In this final installment, the stakes are higher than ever as Mark and Tammy find themselves facing the sinister threat of a human trafficking ring. As they strive to protect Tammy's daughter, Bethany, from the clutches of these criminals, their bond deepens, and the simmering attraction between them ignites into a blazing inferno. Lynne weaves together suspense, romance, and heart-pounding action with her signature simple prose. Although the writing could use some improvement, it still manages to effectively convey its message.

The narrative is propelled forward by a series of twists and turns that will leave readers guessing until the final revelation. The pacing of the story is good as Lynn ensures that the story never loses momentum as it hurtles towards its climax. The story comes across as a steamy, farfetched action flick—a fusion of Magnum PI, Hawaii Five-0, and North Shore—that keeps fans of such stories reading along and eagerly turning the pages. Overall, Hawaiian Embers continues in the tradition of protagonist Mark TreVaine getting it done. With its blend of suspense, lust, and adrenaline-pumping action, this book is sure to leave genre-focused readers eager for more from this talented author. Author Bio: Sheri Lynne is the owner of a small business in southern Michigan which keeps her busy along with caring for her special-needs son Bryan, who holds a very special place in her heart.

Over the years, Lynne has been involved with Compassion International, a ministry aiding children in third-world countries, bringing them and their families out of poverty, providing them with food, education, and medical assistance, and teaching them the love of Christ. In her spare time, Lynne enjoys spending time with her daughter Wendy and her husband Joe and their daughter, her darling granddaughter Madilynne. With Hawaiian Embers, Lynne has completed her Hawaiian series trilogy. She is currently working on a new historical romance novel, which takes place in 1910. JACKSON COUNTY, MI – Putting hard work and passion into everyday life is nothing new to Cheryl Ross. Ross, 68, grew up on her family’s Hillsdale County dairy farm, where she would wake up early every day to milk the cows with her older sister. Being the two youngest of the family’s seven kids, they ended up with most of the responsibility of chores at the farm when their older siblings left home, she said. While most kids would hate the amount of work they did, she said she enjoyed being busy and would put in 100% effort. “(The work) never bothered me,” Ross said. “I was kind of a bossy kid.” This love for hard-work and dedication drove Ross to keep succeeding, eventually opening her own cleaning business and becoming a published author. Her positivity, faith and family keep her motivated to succeed, Ross said.
